The CEO indicated that when in opposition they meet with industry players, make promises, and assure them of policies to promote their work.
However, when they win power, they fail to deliver on their promises, give opportunities to the Chinese, their family families, and other foreigners, he said
He said these politicians are all not correct because they know they have to help us with infrastructure but when they come into power, they take away the business from us, give it to their families and their friends.
He said over the years, none of them have started anything, when they win power, they want to be rich overnight, they want to build houses, shopping malls, and other property.
Prof. Anokye said the politicians want to do everything in the shortest possible time and in the end, they lose it all.
He opined Ghanaians have now realized that politicians are not faithful and due to that, they have decided to vote them out just after four years in power.
He advised politicians to rather focus on allowing the professionals in the industry to take the lead in the sector instead of taking over the industry for their selfish interest.
Prof. Anokye Speaking on Accra-based Rainbow radio was worried about corruption, thievery, and how leaders in the country abuse their office for their selfish gains.
Ghanaians he added will not forgive them for these criminal activities as soon, leaders will learn the hard way of transforming the country.
