2020 Polls: Presidential Seat Is Non-Negotiable, A Done Deal For NPP – Minister Tells NDC.

The Minister for Food and Agriculture, Mr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, has said that, the Incumbent government (NPP) led by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will retain the presidential seat in the upcoming 2020 general elections.

He said the quality and ability of their Presidential Candidate, who belonged to the ” right party”, was ready to champion the development of the citizens in the country for his first term in office.

The Minister added that, “Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia are  in the bottom line of transforming our mother Ghana to a certain level in which no government can reach to that standard”. 

“There  has been a lot of social interventions in every sector within just three(3) and half years since we took office in which Ghanaians are appreciative, just to mention a few; Free SHS, Planting for food and Jobs, 1D1F, NABCO, 1V1D, Restoration of Training Nursing and Teacher Allowances, etc.

“Everything shows that this year’s elections is a done deal for New Patriotic Party (NPP) weather the opposition party (NDC) believes in or not, we will retain power” Mr. Afriyie Akoto said.

Hon Minister for Agriculture, Owusu Afriyie Akoto speaking at the walk with Dr. Kingsley ( Kwadaso Constituency Parliamentary Candidate) durbar in UEW.K, said the NPP party believed in opportunity for all and not individuals who do not care about the status of the citizenry, but rather enrich themselves.

 

He also urged the party members to avoid people with that kind of self-centered agenda and therefore ” my brothers and sisters open your eyes come December 7th”.
