A 36-year-old man who identified himself as Michael Tetteh has been busted by community members in Okwenya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region for allegedly stealing two goats.
Unit Committee chairperson of the area, Paul Senyemeh disclosed to myghanamedia.com that robbery has become rampant in the area, a situation he claims has claimed many lives.
According to him, motorists and commuters have been robbed at gunpoint.
He said residents have been complaining about their missing goats and that they took it upon themselves to investigate the situation.
