NPP Reinstates Former Akyem North MP After Over Two-Year Ban

Former Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North in the Ashanti Region, Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, who was on June 6, 2019, secluded from participating in any organised event by the NPP in the constituency has been reinstated with full rights.

 

This was contained in a letter signed by the Constituency Secretary, Mr Aboagye Boateng Williams, addressed to the former legislator.

 

His reinstatement took effect from December 13, 2021, the letter indicated.

“Upon further deliberations of the issues, the constituency executives decided to review [their] decision and reinstate you to your status as a member with full rights,” the letter noted.

It continued: “The constituency executives have considered your subsequent conduct at seeking resolution through internal processes and continuous support for the party at the constituency, regional and national levels.”

 

The former MP was secluded from participating in all party activities in the Asante Akyem North constituency on Thursday, 6 June 2019.
