Hasaacas Ladies head coach Yusif Basigi has revealed that he was been coaching the side for the past 18 years without salary.

Basigi will go into the history books of the club after guiding the side to a fifth title in 2021 as they have dominated the local scene.

The Black Princesses coach won the Ghana Women’s Premier League title, the FA Cup, Super Cup, The WAFU Zone B title, and the First Lady’s Cup last Friday.

Yusif Basigi hasn’t been rewarded financially for his big achievement with the Sekondi-Takoradi based side.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based radio station Angel FM, Basigi says his joy is to see young girls develop through football.

“I have been coaching Hasaacas Ladies for 18 years. I’m the first coach of the team when it was formed in June 2003”.

“I have coached all these years without a salary. My joy is seeing a lot of young girls transforming their lives through football”

Basigi will lead Hasaacas Ladies to defend their Ghana Women’s Premier League title when it begins this month.
