Ahenkan FM Boss Gives Free Chicken To The Less Privileged And Aged

Boss of Ahenkan 93.3 FM, Mr. Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah, and his team have stormed some communities in the Birim central Municipal, Asene Manso Akroso District, Akyemansa District, Birim South District of the eastern region making free live chicken donations to widows as part of the one year aniverstray of the radio station to put smiles on the faces of vulnerable widows who might not have the opportunity to enjoy the Yuletide.

 

The free live chicken donation started on Christmas Eve with over 1,500 donations made to widows from Asene , Manso, Aboabo, Oda and other surrounding communities.

 

Over the past years, Mr Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah has made it a vow to assist the needy and vulnerable especially aged women and widows.

 

This was part of activities that climaxed its (Odi Media Network – Ahenkan 93.3 FM & Ahenkanfmonline.com) one (1) anniversay celebration.

 

“This is an essential event we intend to rotate annually as our core vision in helping ease the financial burden on widows and poor aged women, especially in rural communities – by granting them goodies, it goes a long way to ease their pain of loss or need”, Mr Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah explained.

 

 

 

Another reason for the area-to-area chicken distribution method according to Odi Ahenkan Kwame was to show appreciation to the less privileged who are always tuned to the Ahenkan 93.3 FM frequency by rewarding their efforts .

 

 

 

He explained that this year started with a lot of challenges especially with the presence of Covid yet God has been faithful blessing Ahenkan FM with great workers, loyal listeners and a massive support base in all angles from the birth date of the media network till date.

This is a major donation by the Odi Media Network during this Christmas, he said.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Odi Ahenkan Kwame, noted that this was the time to extend a helping hand to the less privileged in the country as most of them have no food to eat in this Christmas season.

 

 

 

Speaking at the event was the CEO of Odi media Mr. Bright Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah, he stated that as part of his annual donations that he has been doing since 2019 he wanted this years donations to be different than the previous years and this initiative has come to stay and going forward he is looking forward of extending it to other regions in the country .

Widows who recieved the items praised the good works that he is doing and encouraged him to do it every year because even the people that they voted for has not even plan to do this for them and its the first of its kind in these communities.

 

 

 

Significantly, Mr Otoo Achempong the general manger of AHENKAN FM  and other key  staff members assisted  Mr. Bright Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah, as he distributed the free live chicken.
