We thank God for our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We started the year 2021 some twelve (12) months ago, but here we are ending it today. God, we are so grateful for your love and mercies bestowed on us.

As the year draws to a close, (yes, we’re nearly there), there are some important questions to ask yourself. We all know that the beginning of the year is all about making resolutions and goals for the coming year, but the end of the year also marks a time where we can evaluate how the year has gone and what we have achieved. Here are some important questions to ask yourself.

Table of Contents

1. What Contribution Have I Made To The Community?

2. Have I achieved my goals?

3. What Do I Need To Change To Be Where I Want To Be?

4. Have I Been True to Myself?

5. Have I Done My Best?

6. How Can I Be Better At What I Do?

7. Am I happy?

1. What contribution have I made to the community?

One of the important questions to ask yourself is this one. When I say community, it doesn’t have to be your town or city. We are all residents of the global community, so maybe you have given your time to volunteering or donated some money to charity. Think about the ways you have contributed and how you can contribute in the future.

2. Have I achieved my goals?

This is another important question, and before you say that you gave up on your resolutions way back on December 31st, 2020, if you look back, there are probably many ways you have moved closer to achieving your goals. Maybe you didn’t quit smoking, but perhaps you did cut down a little. Maybe you didn’t lose all the weight you wanted to lose, but you still lost some. You should congratulate yourself on these little victories, no matter how small!

3. What Do I Need to Change to Be Where I Want to Be?

If you haven’t achieved as much as you wanted this year, ask yourself why. Did you lose focus or motivation? What are the reasons you didn’t achieve what you desired and what do you need to change? Perhaps there are subtle changes you need to make, like getting up a little earlier to exercise or organizing things a little better so that you have more time to achieve that goal.

4. HAVE I BEEN HONEST WITH MYSELF?

This is an important question that we should ask ourselves all the time. Being true to yourself means doing things you truly believe in and not listening to what others expect of you. Remember, this is your life to live and you only get to do it once!

5. HAVE I GIVEN MY BEST EFFORT?

Another question that can make you reflect on the year is whether you have done your best. This doesn’t mean you have to hang your head in shame as you realize that you could have done better. It just means that looking forward, you vow to use your past experiences to be the best you can be in the future.

6. HOW CAN I BE BETTER AT WHAT I DO?

I’m sure this is something we all constantly ask ourselves, but thinking about how you can be better at what you do can be empowering. Perhaps there is a course you can go on to develop your current skills. Or maybe you can find a mentor to help you achieve that goal. Whatever it is, reflecting on the necessary steps you need to take to be better at what you do can be a great motivator.

7. Am I Content?

What is true happiness, anyway? Philosophers and sages have been contemplating the nature of happiness for centuries, but evaluating what makes you happy and when you feel at your happiest will ensure you can bring more of the good stuff into your life every day.

These are just a few questions you may want to ask yourself as the year draws to a close. So, grab a pen and a piece of paper and use these questions to evaluate the year and the coming months. Can you think of any more important questions to ask yourself?

It is my wish and my prayer thta, 2022 will be a fruitful and amazing year as we wish ourselves well. See you in 2022. When you say a prayer say one for H.E NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO-ADDO and Ghana as well NPP to take Ghana to the promised Land.

Long live our hopes and values we cherished

Long live NPP

Long live Ashanti Kingdom

Long live Ghana
