Former Birim Central MCE, Kwabena Ankomah Bempong Is Dead

Ghanaian politician, Mr. Kwabena Ankomah Bempong has been reported dead.

 

The former Municipal Chief Executive of Birim Central in the Eastern region, Mr. Kwabena Ankomah Bempong, who served under President Akufo Addo’s first term in office, has passed on.

 

According to information gathered, he died after battling an illness.

 

His demise was made public by Oda citizen, who rushed to social media to mourn the loss.

Prior to his death, Mr. Kwabena Ankomah Bempong was a former Chairman for the Akim Oda Constituency for the New Patriotic Party

 

He was confirmed as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Birim Central Municipal Assembly in March 2017 and resigned from his post due to his health condition on 15th May 2019
