A/R – Nkontomire residents appeal for Government support.

Nkontomire is a farming community in the Atwima Nwabiagya South district of the Ashanti region .

Thousands (1000) of Residents living in this community are cocoa farmers and are appealing to government for support as they
say they lack social amenities.

Narrating their ordeal with Akoma fm News reporter  Kwame Yeboah The chief at Nkontomire traditional council Nana Adarkwa Acheampong said, Schools and roads are in deplorable state .

The road and our schools are in a deplorable state . students in the area do not have classrooms to study which is affecting academic work and government must as matter of urgency come to their aid.
Teachers have to travel from various communities before reaching the school because there is no bungalow for them to sleep and am pleading to government to help us.

Meanwhile some residents said the Road linking from Nkontomire to Nfensi is in deplorable state which affecting commuting in the area.
