Wilson Kwaku Bodeh, constituency chairman for the New Patriotic Party in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa constituency of the central region is reported to have allegedly assaulted his polling station chairman Ebenezer Teteh when Teteh, the victim went to his (constituency Chairman) house to collect Gh850 for work done for him.
Ebenezer Tetteh narrated his ordeal that, the constituency Chairman, Wilson Kwaku Bodeh contracted him to do some carpentry work for him which he did to the fullest but Wilson Kwaku Bodeh failed to pay him the labour fee which they all agreed upon.
Some months later, Ebenezer Teteh together with his wife went to Chairman Kwaku Bodeh’s residence to collect the money so that they could send their daughter who has gotten admission to Mfansteman Girls SHS to school.
He lamented that upon their arrival at chairman Kwaku Bodeh’s house, he welcomed them with insults and subsequently beat him mercilessly and landed him flat on the floor.
It took the timely intervention of his wife who dragged him from chairman Kwaku Bodeh’s house.
Ebenezer Teteh (the victim) immediately reported the incident to the Twifo Praso police where he was issued with a police medical form to be sent to the hospital. Currently, the matter is being investigated by the police.
Philomena Tetteh who is the wife of the victim and also happens to be an eyewitness to the brutality also disclosed to the media that, she was terrified by the power behind chairman Kwaku Bodeh’s blow against her husband. Adding that, her husband has not been able to go to work because of the terrible impact of the beaten.
In reaction, the suspect, Wilson Kwaku Bodeh the Twifo Ati-Morkwa constituency NPP chairman has stated that his pastor has advised him not to comment on the matter.
