The Parliamentary Candidate for Fanteakwa south on the Ticket of the Opposition NDC in the Eastern region Mr. Richard Fred Kwashie has donated to Agyeikrom Mosque.
He donated “Buutha’s “, water storage purposely for Ablution, “Sajaada” ( prayer Mat ) and Fan to the newly built mosque at Agyeikrom.
Addressing the people he said only NDC party has sympathy for muslims and zongo communities.
He admonished them that election is not war and most of the time zongo peeps are being used for violence but he hopes this year no violence will happen and he believes no zongo youth will dream of causing mayhem during and after election. Adding that he said many have lost their lives to such behaviour and hurt themselves also.
He reaveld that he the challenges of water crises and Toilet Facility will be solved when he is elected on December 7th
The constituency communications director for Fanteakwa south Mr. Abdul Aziz Swalah said NDC has better packages for zongo communities.
He said due to the challenges muslims faces during pilgrimage to hajj, NDC built airport at tamale in the northern region to curb such situation.
With the issue of Morgues he said NDC Leadership toured zongos and seek for the challenges they are facing and they told them when their fellow Muslim dies at the hospital, they goes through Mess before the body is retrieved from the hospital which is bad so they requested for a special treatment and a spacial morgue service for Muslim.
He said people are going round purporting Lies that John mahama wanna kill Muslim that is why he has decided to build Mortuaries for zo go but we should ask ourselves that we have only one coffin in the mosque was it crafted because we wanna kill our fellow Muslim?

Adding that he said john mahama will made it simple that when a female muslim dies a female will treat that person whiles a man dies, a fellow Muslim man will hold the treatment there.
He said we there have never been a Mortuary woman before but always a mortuary man which is Haram for a male to watch the body of a feminist when she dies.
He lamented that NDC will provide loans for zongo residents who are in need of Financial assistance to boost their businesses with zero interest.
