Video: Peace FM’s Presenter, Odi Ahenkan Declares Bid To Contest Akim Oda Parliamentary Seat In 2024

Renowned media personality and master of ceremony, Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah self-acclaimed as the international killer Abubunua Aboozigi Man has hinted at his intention of contesting the parliamentary seat in the Akim Oda as an independent candidate.

Some residents in the Akyem Oda Constituency have vowed to give Mr. Bright Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah, who is popularly known as Aboozigi shot in parliament.

Stating his reasons why he has decided to contest as an independent candidate, Mr. Odi-Ahenkan said the constituents are the ones who are calling on him to contest.

He made this shocking news on his radio station Ahenkan 93.3 FM in Akim Aboabo on Sunday, 22nd of May 2022.

Mr. Bright Odi Ahenkan promised to provide better opportunities for the youth should he get the nod to be elected as the MP for the constituency.

”It is true, I am contesting as an independent candidate if God’s willing next general election, therefore I am pleading with the constituents to give me the opportunity to represent them in parliament in 2024 general election”, he said

According to him, Akim Oda constituency is suffering from a youth unemployment epidemic that must be tackled urgently.

Both NPP and NDC has failed to provide that youth with jobs, therefore that is my main focus.

Biography of Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah

 

 

 

Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah is a native of Akyem Aboab a town located in the Birim Central Municipal of the Eastern region of Ghana.

He had his basic education at Arthur predatory school Akyem Asene and continued to Atteffuah Senior secondary in Akyem Oda.

He taught at Arthur preparatory school after his secondary education for one year and got the opportunity to work at Akim Oda-based Radio Biyac as a news and sports presenter for two years.

He also worked at Solid FM in the Ashanti region as a sports and news presenter for two years.

He joined Peace FM in the year 2006/2007 as a newscaster.

Due to his passion and love for the job, he has grown through the ranks and is now the host of Peace FM after church show on Sunday, the host of the drive time and Newscaster as well.

Mr Bright Odi Ahenkan is also a businessman, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Akim Aboabo based Ahenkan FM, Afrakomah Community Hospital located at Amasaman, Odi block factory and O.D.I electronics.
