The presidential candidate for National Democratic congress , ( NDC ), H.E John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians that, he will use his executive power to investigate and prosecute the murders of Armed Suale, when he elected to power come December 7th.
According to former president , the investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale was murdered a year ago under the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government but no investigation and prosecution has been done yet.
Mr. Mahama dispelled this notion when he visited the chiefs and people at Welenshi, in the northern region ,the hometown of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
Speaking at the durbar, He added that ,under the administration of this Npp government , security has loos it control in the country.
“But whenever we (NDC) is in office the country is save and secure”.
He also hinted that, when their opponent party ( NPP) in office instead of distributing weapons to the security agencies to protect the nation, they rather share it to vigilantes and bodyguards to harass the ordinary civilians.
“There has been a lot of murders in the system under the watch of the ruling government led by Akufo-Addo but no action has been taken yet, Why?” Mr Mahama asked.
According to him, the next NDC government will make sure that the country will save again.
Mahama Appeal to them to vote for number 2 to bring back NDC , to lead the country to the right path.
Ahmed Hussein-Suale (5 December 1987 – 16 January 2019) was a Ghanaian undercover investigative journalist and an associate of fellow Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.[2] He died on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 when unidentified men on motorbikes shot him three times, twice in the chest and once in his neck in his vehicle.
