The newly elected General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Justin Frimpong Kodua has attributed his victory to the massive support from the Ashanti Region grassroots and party faithfuls.

Speaking on Akoma FM‘s current affairs and political show GhanAkoma Monday, July 18, lawyer Frimpong Kodua, who won the NPP General Secretary position by beating the incumbent, explained that the outcome underscores the mighty Ashanti Kingdom slogan: ‘Wokum Apem a, Apem Beba’ to wit thousands Ashanti warriors resurface even if thousands fall.
