Education Ministry Provides Dates For Selection Of Schools By Prospective BECE Candidates

The Education Ministry has announced the date for the selection of schools by prospective candidates of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The ministry has asked parents, guardians and candidates to take note of an video that’s going to be played on various television and radio stations across the country to abreast themselves with the guidelines for the exercise.

“The Ministry of Education has produced a video explaining the school selection guidelines
for candidates, parents/guardians and the public.

“The video will be played on various radio
and Television (TV) networks across the country.The video can also be accessed on; www.freeshs.net,” the statement indicated.

It also asks prospective BECE Candidates, parents/guardians and the public to note the selection should be done by October 31, 2022 with the starting date being October 24 and October 29, 2022 as ending date.

“The Ministry hereby, reiterates its commitment to ensuring a smooth and effective school selection and placement process,” the statement added.
