Congratulations are in place for the USA based Ghanaian Gospel musician minister Mrs Emma Aboagye-Poku popularly known as “Her Royal Highness Royal Mama” as her showbiz name for sweeping two awards; International Artiste of the year and Gospel song of the year “Agya Maba” at The Emerging Music Awards 2022.
Royal Mama who was tipped by many to win the award has worked really hard in the year under review. She was full of excitement and inexpressible joy as well as the whole Snap Cinema in Accra after being declared the International Artiste of the year .

She competed with the likes of Rita Adomolga -USA, Manni B – UK, Whitnee Dee – USA, Clem Biny – USA, Rosey – USA, Star Vicy-UK and others for the International Artiste of the year but she proved to voters who are the major decision makers regarding the awards that this is her time.
“Agya Maba”, a song released by Royal Mama in July 16, 2021, also won the Gospel Song of the Year. ‘Agya Maba’ has been trending since the day of its release and still is one of the widely enjoyed gospel songs currently in Ghana.
