RELEASE BY THE TSWASAM FAMILY ON THE SHARING OF THE TRAGIC PHOTO OF CHRISTIAN ATSU
The Tswasam family, is calling on the general public to be circumspect in churning out particular photos of their deceased family member.
Though the family appreciates the love and prayers of Ghanaians and football loving fans in the last 12 days since the unfortunate incident occured, it is however unhappy about the growing circulation of the photo in which the body of their beloved son is in the grips of the thick and heavy broken walls of the ruined building.
According to the family, not only continues flaunting of the said picture in the social media space constitutes insensitivity to the family in this difficult time, it also contravenes respect for the dead and the family as enshrined in the tradition of the people of Ada
In this regard, the Tswasam family, humbly implores all to cease further circulation of the picture in question as Ghanaians continue to mourn with them in this time of great loss.
Signed:
Nene G.K Tswasam
