On Monday 13/03/2023, at the request of the administration of Toase senior high school and Nkawie technical high school, the Member of parliament for Atwima-Nwabiagya South constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere donated 40 street lights and 400 domestic led bulbs to support visibility in these schools.
The donation was made as part of efforts to significantly improve the lighting situation and for that matter, security system in these schools , particularly at night, in order to drastically reduce the number of theft and robbery cases.
Handing over the energy-saving street lights to the Management of the schools, the lawmaker acknowledged the efforts of the Leadership of the schools but indicated that even before the request came to his attention, he had already started mobilising the street lights for the SHSs in his constituency .
He said that whenever he visits the campus of the schools, they will never express any grievance without mentioning security, and that this has become one of his most difficult challenges.
Hon Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere said he is committed to addressing all of his constituents’ security concerns through the various steps he has put in place.
In receiving the items the head teachers of the schools thanked the member of parliament for the kind donation and for his generosity.
