Ghana head coach Chris Hughton has announced a strong starting line up for the first leg tie of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Angola.
Hughton, who was appointed to lead the senior national team of Ghana last month, has paraded his maiden line up for the crucial fixture against the Palancras Negras of Angola this evening.
Skipper Andre Ayew has been benched as well as Salis Abdul Samed who arrived at the team’s camp late due to flight issues.
Arsenal top star Thomas Partey will be partnering Edmund Addo in the middle with Kamaldeen Sulemana and Jordan Ayew leading the flanks.
Inaki Williams and Kudus Mohammed will be leading the attack for the Black Stars this evening.
Ghana are joint top of the Group E table with 4 points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year.
