Involve Chiefs In Green Ghana Initiative –  Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II Tells Govt

The Chief of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II has pleaded with the government to bring on board Nananom to be part of the Green Ghana Program to make it a successful one.


Speaking with the newsman’s, with the inclusion of Nananom that the Idea of the government to implement the initiative of Green Ghana Program can be successful.


He added that the community members always have Nananom at heart as compared to the politicians and due to that every government initiatives people read meaning of politics into it to score cheap political points to undermined such better initiatives.


Again he said that, if the chance is given to Nananom to spearhead this program they can implemented with communal labour and you can’t not exempt yourself from the exercise without a tangible reason and go scot-free you’ll be deal with according to the laws of that community.


He disclosed this when he led the people of Bibiani Township in a tree planting exercise organised by him and his Kingmakers to plant more than 2,000 seedlings plant this.


He finally admonish that the distraction of the ecology has scientific implications and at the same time spiritual implications on human so there is a need to preserve our land which has been distracted by human activities bye planting trees to reclaim our lands back into good use.




Some community members who took part of these exercise also indicated that they fully agree and support the appeal being given to the government Nananom should be taken into consideration.
