His role as Vice President has also given him significant visibility and influence. His popularity and track record make him a strong candidate for the NPP’s flag-bearer position.

Kennedy Agyepong, while a charismatic figure, has a more limited appeal. His controversial statements and actions have made him a polarizing figure in Ghanaian politics. While he has a loyal following among some elements of the party’s grassroots, he is unlikely to attract the broader coalition of voters needed to win a presidential election.

In conclusion, while both Dr. Bawumia and Kennedy Agyepong have their strengths and weaknesses, Dr. Bawumia is the clear choice for the NPP’s flag-bearer position. His credibility, integrity, and chances of winning are far superior to those of Agyepong.
