The Ghanaian legal and entertainment community is in mourning following the passing of Cynthia Quarcoo, the esteemed Founder and Managing Partner of CQ Legal & Consulting.
Cynthia Quarcoo Jumu, a highly respected corporate and finance legal practitioner in Ghana and the United Kingdom, as well as known for her role as Sarkodie’s lawyer.
As a prominent lawyer and legal luminary, she also played a pivotal role in Ghana’s music and entertainment industry, representing renowned artists such as Samini, Dagaati, and Reggie Rockstone.
Her untimely death at the age of 54 has left a significant void in the legal and entertainment sectors.
She was also the founder of Africa 1 Media and Entertainment which focused on Creative Arts, Entertainment, Media and Sports industries, with services including but not limited to Talent Management, Legal and Business Advisory as well as Financial and Investment Advisory.
Cynthia Quarcoo’s client roster included some of Ghana’s most influential music icons. She also provided legal representation to Shatta Wale in his ongoing case with his former manager, Bull God until her demise.
