A Kumasi based youth activist, Kwabena Frimpong has been nominated for a National Young Achievers Award.
In short-listing Frimpong, the organizers recognized the activists continued effort towards the development of the Ashanti region, and Ghana as a whole.
Kwabena Frimpong was shortlisted in the Young Achiever in Advocacy/Activism and Young Achiever in Politics and Governance.
Frimpong, is known and celebrated for his advocacy, dynamism, unbiased and vociferous youth activism. He is readily remembered for his campaign for the increment of Police training period, scrapping of Council of State, appealed for PPEs to be sent to health facilities in Rural areas, led a crusade for many developmental projects in Ashanti region and Ghana in general, et al.
This award scheme has been instituted to recognize and celebrate young ones in Ghana who are doing exceptionally well in their respective fields of endeavors.
According to the event organisers, winners of each category would be determined by a 70% voting whiles 30% from the NYAA board.
