GFP Executives call on John Mahama to concede defeat  As they Congratulate ‘President-Elect’ Akufo-Addo

The National Executives of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), have have asked Mr John Dramani Mahama to concede defeat whiles they have congratulate the President  Elected , Akuffo Addo for winning 2020 Presidential elections.

 

 

In a Press Release issued and signed on behalf of the party’s national executives , the National chairman of the party, Mr Kwaku Abankwa stated that President Akuffo Addo deserved to be reelected by Ghanaians to steer the affairs of the country for another four more years certainly because he was able to deliver on his promises to Ghanaians in the 2016 elections.

 

On some of the policies established by the Incumbent President and also president elect, Mr Kwaku Abankwa mentioned in particular free SHS , One District One Factory Program and Ghana Identification Card among other policies and programmes Nana Akuffo Addo and NPP were able to implement to benefit Ghanaians.

 

 

He was of much conviction that the next four years that Ghanaians have renewed the mandate of President Akuffo Addo and NPP would be a year of prosperity for Ghanaians.

 

According to him this year’s election was conducted in Peacefull and also all the process by the electoral Commission (EC) led by Mrs. Jean Mensah was Transparent, Free and fair as well.

 

He urged the largest  opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their presidential candidate, Mr John Mahama  to concede defeat.

Meanwhile the presidential candidate for GFP in the 2020 presidential election, Madam Akua Donkor in an interview with Accra base – Angel FM  before the declaration of the 2020 presidential results congratulate the incumbent  President, H.E Akufo-Addo for his re-election to power for another term.
