Students Encourage To Take Vocational And Technical Education Seriously

The youth have been urged to take an interest in Technical and Vocational Education and training programmes since it has potential to guarantee employment after graduation.

Mr Ibrahim Tetteh who is the President of Ghanaians Student Union in Kuwait ,gave the advice when the Union organized a Vocational Seminar for the Home Economics Department for Akim Swedru Senior High School in the Birim South District in the Eastern Region.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He said the seminar will help improve the practical aspect of the students and this will help the to be entrepreneur on their own.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He added that the seminar will create a good link between the students and the Ghanaian Student Union in Kuwait.

 

 

 

 

Mr Eric Afari Agyapong headmaster of Akim Swedru Senior High School speaking to media thanked the Group for choosing his school for such a wonderful program.

 

 

He said Home Economics is one of the best program in Senior High School that any students can pursue.

Mr Afari said the Home Economics lab do not have enough logistics so he therefore appeal to the Union to come to their aid.
