As Hundreds Turn Out For NDC Health Walk, Owusu Brako Pledges To Snatch Achiase’s Parliamentary Seat.

As part of energizing his base for the party ahead of the forthcoming 2024 general elections, Mr. Samuel Owusu Brako, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Achiase Constituency in the Eastern Region, arranged a health walk for his constituents.

 

HEALTH WALK

The walk took place on Friday, August 4, 2022.

Hundreds of NDC supporters responded positively to the party’s invitation to participate in the Mega Health Walk as part of showing their support for the Lawmaker hopeful, Mr. Samuel Owusu Brako.

Some notable personalities in the largest opposition National Democratic Congress from the regional and national levels, including Chief Biney Nixon, former Deputy National Organiser of the NDC, Eliken Kotoko, Deputy National Organiser of the NDC, Lawyer Alexander Twum Barima, Communications and Legal Team Member of the NDC, tertiary students, and constituency executives of the NDC, were all present at the health walk.

Scores of NDC loyalists clad in the party’s colors and paraphernalia danced to blazing brass bands and ‘gyama songs’ as the procession passed through the streets.

The police were also present on the ground to provide security for the patrons of the health walk.

 

NDC PC ARTICULATION

After the exercise, Mr. Samuel Owusu Brako addressed the voters and vowed to work tirelessly to take the Achiase parliamentary seat away from the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the general elections of 2024.

He claimed that the NPP should give up on the seat because the NDC would do anything to win it in 2024.

“The Achiase area has in the past been described as the stronghold of the NPP, but we have changed the narrative; Achiase has now become the strong base of the NDC. I will take the seat from them to the NDC.” Mr. Owusu Brako stated:

He was sure that the people would make a good choice if they voted for him.

“So, the purpose of this walk is to keep ourselves in shape ahead of the task of bringing the party back to power in 2024 and also to snatch Achiase’s seat as well”.

“We have a big role to play in bringing the big umbrella family back to power. That’s the only way Ghanaians can be rescued from the hardships they are suffering under the Nana Addo-led government.”

 

 

FIDELITY

He pointed out that many of the main roads and town streets in the area are now in terrible condition, and many vehicles avoid using them, particularly during the rainy seasons.

According to Mr. Owusu Brako, if the residents of the Achiase constituency choose to elect him as their MP, he will take care of the roads’ appalling condition and restoration. This was reported to be included in his manifesto.

In order to help lower unemployment, he additionally pledged to build factories in the region if he is elected as a member of parliament (MP).

 

 

ACCLAIM

Lawyer Alexander Twum Barima, a member of the NDC’s communications and legal team, praised the party’s parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Mr. Samuel Owusu Brako, for his dedication to working for the party to take the seat from the rival New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He described the 2024 elections as a revolution for Ghana.

In order to guarantee success for John Mahama and Mr. Samuel Owusu Brako, he urged party members to work assiduously and cooperatively.

Ghanaians must vote the NDC back into office in 2024 if they want to prevent the inept Akufo-Addo and Bawumia regimes from destroying the nation, he added.
