Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV said that the visit is a component of his familiarization visits with legislators and is intended to strengthen the bonds of effective partnership to speed up development in the traditional area.

The President of the Council and the Omanhene of the Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area commended the Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda for being a distinguished son of the Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area.

He believed that Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah had shown the residents of Akyem Oda and, indirectly, some other areas of the region, what great leadership looked like.

The Omanhene recounted the MP’s work within just three (3) of his allotted four (4) years in office and stated that despite every challenge, the lawmaker continued to show genuine leadership to the constituency.

His Royal Majesty Oseadeayo Dr. Frimpong Manso commended the Member of Parliament for his unequaled contribution to nation-building and the development of Kotokuman, especially the championing and provision of scholarships to the poor and needy, the reconstruction of Oda’s central market, which was destroyed by fire in 2021, town roads, youth employment, and youth empowerment in Oda.

Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV cited a number of projects initiated and executed by the office of the MP, with special reference to the championing and provision of scholarships to the poor and needy, the construction of town roads, youth employment, youth empowerment, and the ongoing reconstruction of an ultra-modern Akyem Oda Central Market complex, which was destroyed by fire on Monday, September 13, 2021.

According to Oseadeeyo, he is very impressed with the level of work done on the market so far.

He appealed to him not to rest on his oars but to continue to serve the people in his constituency and Kotokuman as well.

Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV praised the Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah for his significant contribution to the ongoing renovation of the long-abandoned Akyem Oda Sports Stadium, but he also expressed concern over its halt and pleaded with the MP to do everything in his power to see that the project is finished to enable Kotoku Royals FC to play their home matches at their home grounds, which will also help boost the socio-economic activities in Oda.
