Mr. Katakyie Dennis, the leader of a group called “The Spartans for NPP” and also the president of the NABCO Trainees Association of Ghana (NABTAG), has lashed out at former President John Dramani Mahama, saying he lacks the capacity to become President of Ghana again.
The NPP accused the former president of leaving the economy in tatters during his tenure.
According to him, Mr. Mahama is so incompetent that he will never be able to lead Ghana again.
He added that the former president could not reverse the situation if given a second chance to rule the country.
In an interview with Newsmen, he stated that “former President Mahama would never be president again for us to even witness his propaganda, highlighting the fact that Ghanaians have already experienced and seen that he has nothing positive to offer us and that there is no need for him to be elected president once more”.
He continued, “John Mahama has nothing better to offer Ghanaians because governance is not just about building market centers and roads; it entails a lot, and if he had something better to offer Ghanaians, he should have done so when he was president rather than now that he has been removed from office. This is because, despite having risen through all the political and governance ranks in Ghana, he still struggles to carry out his campaign promises because of poor governance”.
Mr. Katakyie Dennis reiterated that Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the current flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a former president of Ghana, cannot persuade him to create jobs or make other interventions because he openly acknowledged and disclosed his inability to do so while serving as president, citing the fact that he is not a magician who could conjure magic for a job during his administration.
He declared his readiness in the capacity of the president for Spartans for the NPP to resist any attempt by the NDC and John Mahama to entice the youths with propaganda messages all in the name of gaining power because he has been a failure since his inception as president in 2012, hence he doesn’t have the credibility to lead the country as president again.
