George Afriyie, a frontrunner in the Ghana Football Association’s presidential race, has been disqualified after going through the vetting process.
The vetting committee led by Joseph Bernard Ashalley concluded that Afriyie was unsuccessful after the exercise.
Afriyie has the right to appeal the decision by Monday (11 September).
This leaves incumbent Ghana FA boss Kurt Okraku as the sole candidate in the running for the post.
