Ghana attacker, Mohammed Kudus, scored his first goal for West Ham United as they completed a comeback win over Backa Topola on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old was involved in two goals as the Hammers won 3-1 at London Stadium in the UEFA Europa League opener.
The visiting Serbian side stunned the hosts by taking the lead two minutes into the second half when Peter Stanic capitalised on a West Ham defensive mishap.
Six minutes after the hour mark, Mohammed Kudus thought he had scored for West Ham United to level the score but it was awarded as an own goal.
There was no denying the former Ajax man on a second time as he headed home a James Ward-Prowse corner to give David Moyes’ side the lead in the 70th minute.
Substitute Tomas Soucek wrapped up the scoring in the 82nd minute from another James Ward-Prowse assist.
Mohammed Kudus has, prior to this game, made two substitute appearances for West Ham since his August transfer from Ajax.
