Mr. Benjamin Kwabena Amoako Frimpong, the former Bono East NPP Regional Communications Director, has resigned from the party to support Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng.
He feels that the party’s treatment of the former commerce and industry minister during the presidential primaries was unfair.
He asserts that although speaking the truth can be painful, there are instances when it must be done since that party is going in the wrong direction.
He says that despite his contribution to the party, he believes that this is an appropriate moment for him to opt to follow Alan.
He claimed that the NPP led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia government now has a culture of silence and that freedom and fear are no longer commonplace.
