Pokuase Residents Threaten Demo Against MP, MCE Over Deplorable Roads

Spread the love

Residents of Pokuase, Mayera, Abensu, and its surrounding communities have threatened to stage a peaceful demonstration against the Member of Parliament (MP) of Trobu constituency, who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Moses Anim, and the Municipal Chief Executive for Ga North Municipal Assembly (MCE), Hon. Simon Sakyem, to swiftly fix their deplorable roads or face a massive demonstration.

The Assembly member of Abensu, Smart Nana Kusi, in a plea to the aggrieved residents, called on the MP and the MCE to, as a matter of urgency, fix the deplorable roads of Pokuase to Mayera, Abensu, and its surrounding communities.

The residents are disappointed that they have a three-term MP who has woefully failed to fix the bad roads in the Trobu constituency and the Ga Municipality at large.

The residents of Mayera and its surrounding communities are also threatening “no roads, no votes” in the 2024 general elections.
