On TJanuary 16, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., two cars collided on the Akyem Aboabo-Asene route.
A Kia Mighty with registration number ER-1277-19 and a Toyota with registration number GT-5405-20 were the two vehicles involved in the collision.
The only people in both automobiles were the drivers.
The report states that Koforidua-based Y&K Company Limited is the owner of the Kia Mighty.
The unidentified driver of the Kia Mighty was delivering boxes of pepsodent, boxes of Annapurna salt, and boxes of key soap to their branch in Akyem Oda.
At Akyem Aboabo Cemetery, a collision occurred between a Toyota Hiace heading to Akyem Asene and a Kia Mighty heading to Oda.
The drivers of both vehicles suffered varying degrees of injuries, according to the witness, who spoke with MyGhanaMedia.com.
The driver of the Toyota Hiace, Mr. Appiah’s colleague Kwaku Awuku, also expressed how horrified they were to hear the tragic news.
