The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commiserated with the people of Namibia following the death of president, Hage Geingob.
Hage Geingob, 82, died early on Sunday (4 February) while receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the capital, Windhoek.
In a statement on Sunday (4 February), Akufo-Addo described Geingob as a dedicated servant of his people.
” The Ghanaian people and I express our deepest condolences to the Government and people of Namibia on the untimely passing of their President, His Excellency Hage Geingob. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Namibian nation during this challenging times.”
“President Geingob was not only a respected leader but also a dedicated servant of his people….May his soul rest in perfect peace until the last day of the resurrection when we meet again, Amen,” Akufo-Addo said.
