VIDEO: Traditional Leaders Invoke Curses On Akufo Addo’s DCE Nominee

In the Hemang Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region, some resentful traditional leaders of Twifo Hemang have called on the land’s ancestors and gods to deal with Mr. Nana Kwaku Abban, who has been nominated by President Akufo Addo for the position of District Chief Executive in the area.

The Chiefs justified newly appointed DCE, have used certain unprintable words on the Chiefs in the area, even to the extent of disgracing them in public.

The traditional leaders made up of chiefs, queens, and subjects, slaughtered a sheep and poured libation with bottles of schnapps to invoke the curses.

Meanwhile, Nana Adwoa Asor II, the Queen mother of the area, insisted that the DCE nominee’s arrogance and bad attitude would negatively influence the children if he became the leader of the area, hence calling on the president to, as a matter of urgency, change.

When the reporter, Nana Kwame Essel of Sweet FM contacted Nana Kwaku Abban, he refused to respond to the accusations made against him by the chiefs.
