Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, has lauded the inauguration of the Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi, citing significant relief for travelers.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen asserted that the airport’s establishment has not only alleviated the burden on travelers but has also served as a rebuttal to critics who doubted the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration’s commitment to development in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking on a Kumasi-based radio station, he dismissed criticisms from former President John Mahama and Asiedu Nketia, emphasizing his primary concern for Ghana’s progress.
He hailed the airport’s role in eliminating the necessity for travelers to journey to Kotoka International Airport in Accra for flights, enabling direct access to international destinations from Kumasi.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen passionately championed the achievements of the NPP, highlighting their capacity to revive stagnant projects and implement policies beneficial to the underprivileged.
In an impassioned plea to voters, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Bawumia and the NPP, envisioning a prosperous future under their leadership quoting Bob Marley’s iconic lyric, “there′s a natural mystic blowing through the air”
He questioned the rationale behind choosing Mahama or the NDC over the NPP, advocating for a collective commitment to Ghana’s advancement.
