After exposing Attorney General Godfred Dame’s purported attempt to implicate the Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Forson, in the ambulance case, Mr. Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ongoing trial, has spoken to the media for the first time.
According to him, he is not afraid of his security because “I am a gorilla in the jungle so I’m not afraid of anything”.
To him, if they bring people after his life, they should do it with professionals because if they bring amateurs they will not succeed in taking him out.
“I’m okay, they can try it, if they succeed fine but they must bring professionals because if they bring amateurs it will be a death sentence for them. They should be bringing professionals if they want to come after me. I know I am a principled man as to being a strong man it’s a different ball game,” he told Journalists.
Richard Jakpa is known to have leaked an audio conversation and WhatsApp chats he has with the Attorney General to the National Democratic Congress.
These audios were played at a press conference with calls for the Attorney General to be sacked if he fails to resign for influencing a suspect in a case which is in court.
The Attorney General has denied trying to incarcerate Ato Forson indicating that he has no arrangement with Richard Jakpa.

Richard Jakpa, justified his recording of a private conversation with the Attorney General (AG), Godfred Yeboah Dame.
According to Mr Jakpa, the tape was to serve as evidence that the AG was seeking to prosecute and jail innocent people.
“When a private conversation leads to committing a crime, it can no longer be private. It becomes a crime against the state. So that private recording is neither here nor there,” he said.
