In response to an accident, he suffered while traveling to Kumasi for a party programme, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), visited the party’s Communications Director, Richard Ahiagbah at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
However, following his visit, Mr. Kodua Frimpong reported that Mr Ahiagbah is responding positively to treatment and remains in a stable condition.
“Mr. Ahiagba is in stable condition and is responding positively to the treatment”.
Lawyer Koduah says that in order to guarantee that Mr. Ahiagba receives enough rest throughout his recuperation, the attending doctors have recommended limiting the number of visits.
“The attending doctors have advised that visitors be limited to ensure Mr. Ahiagba gets sufficient rest during his recovery”.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Mr Kodua Frimpong conveyed the NPP’s heartfelt gratitude to all well-meaning Ghanaians for their overwhelming love and well wishes.
“The party appreciates everyone’s earnest prayers and support during this time”.

Richard Ahiagbah, the National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is currently fighting for his life following a serious car accident.
The collision occurred early Saturday morning (27th July 20240 around 1:30 am on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Aduapompo.
Preliminary reports indicate that Ahiagbah was the sole occupant of his vehicle when it was involved in a crash with an articulated truck.
Eyewitness accounts suggest driver fatigue may have been a contributing factor to the accident.
