Ghana’s government launched a national healthcare prevention service.
The service authority, which is the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), has received a Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle donation from the Korea Foundation for International Health (KOFIH) in order to enhance and fortify the service.
This donation will contribute to improving the caliber of services provided.
On July 29, 2024, a brief ceremony was conducted at the NHIA Head Office in Accra.
On behalf of the government, this gesture was gratefully received by Dr. Dacosta Aboagyei, the CEO of the NHIA.
The CEO also took advantage of the occasion to thank the vice president and president of Ghana for their support of the Korea Foundation for International Health (KOFIH).
KOFIH has supported the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) since 2013 to enhance membership enrolment, improve claims management, improve research, and build staff capacity with the view to assisting NHIA.
