George Kofi Adjei, often known as Joe Kad, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman for the Nhyiaeso constituency in the Ashanti Region, has passed away.
As per the news, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, he passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
Joe Kad who is said to be the longest-serving constituency chairman in the NPP has been ill and was on admission at UGMC for about a week before he died.
Following the announcement of his death, many NPP faithful have taken to social media to mourn his passing.
Ernest Owusu Bempah, a deputy communications director of the NPP posted on his WhatsApp status; “Wofa Joe damirifa Due my good friend.”
Krobea, another deputy director of communications for the NPP also wrote the following on his WhatsApp status; “Awww Chairman Joe Kad. Strongman da yie.”
The sitting member of Parliament the constituency where Joe Kad was chairman is the current deputy minister for finance, Stephen Amoah (Sticker).
