Meet The NDC’s 276 Parliamentary Candidates For 2024 Polls

All 276 constituencies’ parliamentary candidates for the general election scheduled for December 7, 2024, have been listed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with the name of its flagbearer, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

This will enable the candidates to submit their nominations at the national headquarters of the Electoral Commission as well as in their respective district offices, according to a release signed by the General Secretary of the political party, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.

The Electoral Commission (EC) opened nominations for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections on Monday, September 9.

The nomination period will close on Friday, September 13.

In a press release issued on Thursday, August 1, the Commission stated that this process is in accordance with Regulations 6, 7, and 9 of the 2020 Public Elections Regulations (C.I 127).

Interested candidates can download nomination forms from the EC’s website starting Friday, August 2.

The filing fee for presidential candidates is set at GH¢100,000, with a reduced fee of GH¢75,000 for female candidates and persons with disabilities.

Nomination forms will be accepted between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, and again from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm each day during the nomination period.
