In partnership with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, Joana Gyan’s charity organized a week-long health screening for residents in Ghana’s Western Region’s Amenfi Central constituency from Monday, October 14 to Sunday, October 20, 2024.

The following communities are designated to participate in this exercise for seven days: Manso, Amuni, Kwamang, Ayiem, Kwaku Boa, Agona Amenfi, and Agyakaamanso.

Malaria, hepatitis (ABC), breast cancer, syphilis, and gonorrhea are among the illnesses being treated, along with free laboratory testing.

During her address to the constituents, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the founder of the Joana Gyan Foundation and the parliamentary candidate for the Amenfi Central constituency, asserted that the nation’s economy is in ruins and that its people are experiencing various forms of stress, including health issues.

When she discovers the health problems that the community at large is facing, she makes the decision through her foundation to collaborate with the NDC to finance health screenings and offer some AIDS medication help.

In order to lessen the health burden that is affecting the public, her foundation initiated this effort.
