A 37-year-old Ivorian national, Vincent Kofi, has been found dead at Kasoa Krispo City behind Star Oil Filling Station in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.

Information gathered by Adom News suggests Vincent poisoned himself after his girlfriend revealed her pregnancy.

Residents disclosed that the deceased was seen stranded in the area over the weekend and was later found conscious.

In an interview, a resident stated that a phone was found on him, which was used to contact his girlfriend, who came to identify the body.

The girlfriend confirmed that he was her boyfriend but had fled after learning about her pregnancy.

The body has since been deposited at the Police Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
