Eid- ul Fitr is a festival celebrated by Muslims across the globe to mark the end of their 29/30 days of fast.
Member of the NPP Medical Team in Ashanti Region, Mr. John Kwame Duodu popularly known as Sir John has saluted all Muslims and asked for God’s favour for all Muslims observing this year’s Ramadan.
As it has always been norm, Muslims gather in their numbers during this occasion to give thanks to the Almighty Allah for seeing them successfuly through the Ramadan.
Unfortunately for our Muslims brothers and sisters, such gatherings can’t take place this year due to measures put in place to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Muslims brothers and sisters have for once, been compelled to stay indoors and observe these prayers individually.
Just as we have always been admonished by Clerics from all the religions that, the Almighty Allah answer our prayers irrespective of where we call on him, I would like to urge our Muslim brothers and sisters, never relent their efforts in seeking the face of Allah on this day. They should kindly try to continue the decent life they lived during the Ramadan as it is believed, after Ramadan, Allah forgives the participants all their sins.
May Almighty Allah answer our prayers on this day and save us from the deadly pandemic. Once again, I wish all Muslims EID MUBARAK.
