The Ashanti region requires strategic investments in infrastructure development to unlock its full potential and drive sustainable economic growth.
Despite being a significant economic hub in Ghana, the region faces several economic challenges, with inadequate roads, transportation systems, and public amenities hindering economic growth.
The region’s limited market access also poses a challenge, making it difficult for businesses, including informal and small businesses, to reach wider markets
Limited access to formal financial services, particularly for small-scale entrepreneurs and rural residents, hinders job opportunities, especially for the youth.
Addressing these economic challenges requires a multifaceted approach that involves government policies, community engagement, and partnerships with private sector organizations and development agencies.
The new government’s goal of resetting Ghana will largely depend on the efficiency of appointments to public offices, including regional ministers.
