Felix Gyamfi has been appointed as the Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority, effective January 22, 2025.
This announcement was made through an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama.
The appointment was made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
According to the letter, the appointment is pending the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, which is to be given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Mr. Gyamfi Felix has been requested to confirm his acceptance of the appointment within 14 days.
The National Service Authority plays a crucial role in preparing Ghanaian youth for national development and the job market and empowering them through service to the nation.

The President John Dramani Mahama has also appointed Ruth Dela Seddoh as the Acting Deputy Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA).
The appointment is pending the Constitutionally required advice of the NSA Governing Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
A statement from the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama announced that Ruth Dela Seddoh’s appointment takes effect from January 22, 2025.
The President extended his congratulations to Ruth Dela Seddoh on her new role.
“Kindly indicate your acceptance or otherwise of this appointment, within fourteen (14) days of receipt of this letter. Please accept the President’s best wishes.”
