Prof Kobby Mensah Appointed CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Prof Kobby Mensah as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited.

Prof. Mensah, a renowned expert in tourism marketing and an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

 

Throughout his career, Prof. Mensah has been instrumental in promoting tourism through various initiatives, including the Destination Legon Tourism Marketing Exhibition, which integrates academia with industry practice.

 

The appointment is anticipated to boost the strategic direction of Ghana’s tourism development and strengthen its position as a preferred destination for visitors.
