Sir John Sends Heartfelt Wishes To Muslim Community As Ramadan Fasting Begins

The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, John Kwame Duodu, also known as Sir John, has extended warm and heartfelt wishes to Ghana’s Muslim community and beyond as they begin their Ramadan fast.

Sir John’s goodwill message expressed his solidarity and best wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters across the country, recognizing Ramadan as a sacred time of spiritual reflection, fasting, and prayer.

“Seeing the sliver crescent moon symbolizes Allah’s faithfulness and heralds the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, which is marked by purification, generosity, and self-sacrifice,” he explained.

Ramadan is a time of spiritual renewal, self-reflection, and devotion to Allah. “I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed and peaceful Ramadan,” Hon. Duodu concluded.

He recognized Ramadan as one of Islam’s five pillars, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset in order to achieve spiritual growth, forgiveness, and self-discipline.

“As Muslims embark on this holy journey, I pray that Allah gives them the strength, wisdom, and resilience to observe the fast with devotion and sincerity,” Hon. Duodu concluded.

His message of goodwill and solidarity emphasizes the value of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect among people from various faiths and backgrounds.

Hon. Duodu’s act exemplifies the values of peace, love, and compassion that define the holy month of Ramadan.
