Govt Settles Arrears of School Feeding Caterers For 2024/2025 Academic Year

The government, through the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP), has paid the 31 days arrears owed to caterers under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) for the First Term of the

The School Feeding Programme Secretariat extended its appreciation to the government for the timely release of funds for the payment of outstanding arrears owed to the caterers.

A statement signed on Wednesday, April 9, by the National Coordinator of the School Feeding Programme, Hajia Fati Forgor, expressed appreciation to donor partners for their continuous support and collaboration with the government to sustain the programme.

The School Feeding Secretariat, under the supervision of the MoGCSP, has commenced a restructuring of the Programme to fulfill the Government’s commitment to decentralize its operations, improve the quality of food served and ensure consistency in the payment of caterers.
