The member of parliament for Asene Akroso Manso constituency in the Eastern region and double as the minority ranking member on Energy, George Kwame Aboagye popularly called “Oluwa” has expressed dissatisfaction in the government, saying that the ‘Rambo style’ of President John Dramani Mahama’s government is needless in this democratic era.
He emphasized that the Rambo style of Mr. Jakpa and his team storming in people houses for arrest isn’t democratic but rather a very bad style of governance which shouldn’t be entertained in this civilized democratic era of the world.
He emphasized that even the late President Jerry John Rawlings regime couldn’t last forever with his military rule style in government, how much more will this current John Mahama government survives with this old-fashioned leadership style of governance.
He added that, the government should be tolerant and use a democratic style of governance to deal with any former appointee who its suspects of any misconduct in their field of work but shouldn’t be harassing and storming in their houses in a Rambo style which is a village style of governance.

The lawmaker stressed that, government using the National Security personnel or the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to intimidate former government appointees isn’t right but rather, such people they suspect or think has done anything bad to the state in their field of work in the previous government should be appropriately invited to assist investigation and not the Jakpa Rambo style.
He divulged that the current John Mahama government is not doing anything better for Ghanaians apart from the reintroduction of “dumsor” (power outage), sacking of employees who are Ghanaians, harassing and invading into innocent people’s houses in their absence therefore the government should rethink and do better for the country.
The Asene Akroso Manso constituency law maker George Kwame Aboagye made this statement at Akyem Akroso when the New Patriotic Party leadership in the constituency broke the ground to pave way for the construction of a new NPP party office.
